More space for housing or more space for nature? What does Munich need more urgently?
Munich is cramped, not just for people. There is also less and less space for animals, rainwater, and fresh air. Especially in light of global warming and heavy rainfall, nature clearly needs more space. However, the scarcity and high cost of living space is driving Munich residents to existential distress. If people can no longer afford to live in Munich, the city loses its function. Is further densification the solution?
