Opening "Pitch Invaders" at Karlsplatz

In parallel with the exhibition in the pavilion, a second presentation of Sofia Dona’s work “Pitch Invaders” will take over the 32-square-meter screen at the Karlsplatz (Stachus) subway station starting June 11, coinciding with the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The installation features slow-motion clips of politically motivated pitch invasions, portraying them as acts of protest rather than disruptions.
